Pebble Art Challenge # 23

Well, not exactly pebbles! They are definitely rocks.

I think it is a bridge. The piles at each end make me think of the tall parts of a suspension bridge.

The part on the tree stump makes me think of a nest full of eggs at the tip top of the bridge towers!

GraMary's Outdoor Scavenger Hunt - Challenge # 12 part 2

Thank you, Travis and Katelyn, for this outside scavenger hunt! It was lots of fun! I am imagining more scavenger hunts that we can do.

1. Something blooming: Running Myrtle in my front garden

2. Something tall: my Red Pine trees

3. Something soft: a Common Morel mushroom from my yard

4. Something hard: Cherry tree firewood

5. Something fragile: a Grape Hyacinth plant (about 3 inches tall)

6. Something wet: tiny Trout in Hersey Creek

7. Something skinny: Maple poles gleaned from the woods

8. Something that feels silky: American Pussy willow catkins

9. Something crunchy: dried Cherry, Oak, Maple, and Beech leaves in the woods

10. Something wavy: the Hersey Creek after a hard rain rushing over Sylvia's bridge

11. Something bright: Marsh Marigolds

12. Something dull: the skin and coloring of this Gray Tree Frog

13. Something white: SNOW in May!

14. Something dirty: soil for the garden from the compost bin

15. Something clean: new work gloves

16. Something that has lots of parts to it: my truck's engine

Something that is itty-bitty: Itty-Bitty!
But she's not as itty-bitty as she was when she was a kitten.

These are pictures of Itty-Bitty when she first came to live with me in December 2007. She was probably about 3-4 months old.

A challenge question: In September 2020, how old will Itty-Bitty be?
