And on to the party! Well, not actually MY party. I happen to share my birthday with one of Katelyn's friends, Lev, and he had a great party to which we were all invited! It was a pirate theme and had a show from the Bubble Man.
Music,
playground fun,
then off to the Farmers' Market!
A gazillion people and tents,
Red Haven peaches from the Yakima Valley,
sharing a pineapple drink,
and street musicians.
Home to a wonderful dinner of Mabo Dofu, kale chips, and Joy Balls for dessert: a treat made with almond butter, sunflower seeds, tahini, dates, and coconut.
One perfect birthday!
